Dentist In Buenos Aires That Speaks English

If you are looking for a good dentist in Buenos Aires that speaks English then I can help you.

I am not affiliated with this Beunos Aires dentist in any way. I searched for about a month looking for a dentist that spoke English and finally found one through a friend. This dentist was kind, professional and cost me 800 pesos to yank 2 of my teeth. I found the service more efficient than the American dentists I had been to and I found the whole experience quite nice.

I visited Dr. Di Salvo few years ago, but didn´t liked his treatment plan. Then I went to Dr. Telo´s old office and I had 8 implants done.
He was recommended to me by a collegue. Today, I visited Dr. Telo new office in Recoleta for a checkup. After 30 minutes wait(…) he took a panoramic x-ray and everything is ok. I´m very happy with my teeth! A friendo of mine is a dentist in Florida and she was impressed with the quality of the treatment. Dr. Telo and the staff were incredibly kind and gentle, and the new office is definitely one of the fanciest and sparkling clean I’ve seen so far. As a retired physician, I am in an excellent position to evaluate the quality of service rendered and I am extremely happy that I was referred to his office.

    Dr, DilSalvo

If you want to get ripped off then please do go to this dentist. If you don’t mind paying 3-4x what an Argentine will pay then go to Dr. DiSalvo.
He wanted to charge me $1400 pesos for a root canal. Maybe you don’t think this is expensive but I do.

also, i am not talking about a crown -just a filling along with the root canal @ 1400 pesos.. plus he charges 50 pesos for each x ray..

I know an excellent dentist who works in both downtown Buenos Aires and the suburb San Isidro.

His speaks English, has been a dentist for more than 20+ years and very reasonable.

You can certainly call him or email him regarding the prices and check this out yourself. You will be amazed how reasonable it is for an excellent dental care in Buenos Aires. For implants, he works with another dentist so you will have 2 dentists working on you (as the law in Argentina does not allow dental assistants for this), but the cost is still so much less than what I paid in the US and UK.

    Here’s his info.

Please be cautious of going to Dr. Telo’s office in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I now have to see two specialists here in the USA to fix the damages that Dr. Telo did during my dental implant procedure.

Dr. Telo placed implant #29 four to five mm below the crest of my jaw bone. He just kept drilling and didn’t know when to stop! I now need restorative treatment.

Implant #20 had a loose healing cap and there is not enough space to place in a tooth. Implant #10 exteded next to a healthy tooth and the apex of that healthy tooth was damaged. My natural tooth #24 had to be extracted and restorative treatment has to be done. Implant #10 was too narrow to allow for a properly fitting crown and for good gingival health. #10 is also fenestrated and the loss of bone also affected my healthy tooth #9. I had to go to a periodontist in the USA who is now taking care of the MESS and DAMAGE that Dr Telo has done.

Anyone considering any dental implants with Dr. Telo in Buenos Aires, should reconsider. In addition dental implants have become affordable in the USA. It would have been cheaper for me to do in the USA since I would have ended up paying Dr. Telo $8,000 USA dollars had I completed treatment with him. I have now spent an additionall $7,000 just to fix up the damages here in the USA.

I´ve worked as a secretary for Dental Argentina during several months. One of my activities wa sending follow up emails to the patients after the dental treatment was done. It was amazing how positive the answers were. I sent over a thousand follow up emails, and most people wrote back saying they{ve got a great treatment at a great value. I bleieve that´s why they receive many referrals from their happy customers. Doctors really care about their patients and they do a lot of successful treatments. I saw tons of before and after pics, and the results were great. Some of their patients have dental treatments done years ago, and they are happy with their implants, crowns and stuff. Once I was in pain, and it turns out that I had a deep cavity… and I am so anxious… They fixed the tooth with an overlay and I´m very pleased with the results!

I highly recommend Drs Marisol & Gustavo Telo
The service I received was absolutely exceptional and very professional.I had implants and veneers done with them. All I can say is that my dentist back home told me that their work was excellent!! Check their website

I am very satisfied with the services provided by Dr Telo, and I have never experienced such a good customer service from any dental office I’ve been to before. All staff is very friendly and is able to speak English, which is very easy for tourists who do not speak so much Spanish.

I had seven implants done, just a mild discomfort the day after the surgery but after that, everything went perfect. Now i have just finished with the caps. I look forward to coming back to Buenos Aires and see them again, even though going to the dentist is not my favorite activity!

I went to doctor Telo, he ripped me off. I really recomend Dr. basanta, he has 30 years of experience and he is incredibly kind and efficient.
Go to Basanta’s, you wont regret it. He is cheaper than average dentists (even in America).

Dr Telo is the worst implant dentist , the fact is she is not trained in implants , my wife did several implants and now must redo them all with major pains and money
do not go to Gustavo Telo unless you like to pay for pain and get no results . we are willing to give all info about this case to anyone that seeks a dentist

Gustavo A. Telo, DDS, and Marisol Telo, DDS, are the worst Buenos Aires cosmetic dentists who comprise the dental team of Dental Argentina.

Dr. Gustavo Telo specializes in taking un suspected international tourists and performing dental implants without real experience causing irreversible damages just for making money!

Together with his two sisters , they have created a full-service dental practice where patients get bad dental work.

Both, Dr. Gustavo Telo and Dr. Marisol Telo are members of the American Dental Association ,when we have contact ADA we found out that any dentist can be a member

and complaints cannot be addressed .

Dr. Gustavo Telo has completed advanced cosmetic dentistry training in Buenos Aires and New York.

but remain a mediocre dentist , and did not take responsibility for the damages he have done to us.

Dental Argentina has been featured in magazines such as the Vancouver Sun and Time Out Buenos Aires as one of the cosmetic dentistry facilities in demand among both national and international patients and we will make sure they are fully aware of this horrific dentist that could not care less for his patients only for his pocket book.

5 reasons NOT to visit Dental Argentina:

      1. save money and get a top quality treatment in a short time

      2. high-tech dental office and equipment

      3. Friendly and caring doctors and staff

      4. Central and safe location

      5. you will love and enjoy your new smile

To make a story short I was in Buenos Aires in January 2011 and had the bad luck to be at the greedy hand of dentist Gustavo Telo and sisters Marisol Telo, Melina Telo ( web tel 54-11 4828 0821 free from USA 1 888 784 9319 ) a family dentist operation.
Me and my wife decided to do some dental work while we attend some business .

After 3 weeks of going there for 9 appointments coming back to the USA we had to much dental pain, thus we went to a US dentist to evaluate the situation .

Bottom line we made a big error going with " Dr" Gustavo Tellos he made implants and crown that need to be removed with a total cost of $10,000..

So this post may be a life savior and warning to any one that research DR Telos online,

We are willing to give information to anyone that would like advice or verify the above story.

I have been at Dr.Telo’s office for about four years on the advice of my best friend that used to live in Recoleta.

The experience as a patient has always been great from the friendly front desk girls to the amazing technology of his office. He discovered that my former dentist did some of rootcanals improperly, and incompletely.

Dr. T. is very informative and answered all my questions with detail. He told me all the problems or flaws with my smile, such as tooth fissures, before offering solutions to fix the problem. Every time I go for a check-up I notice that they invested in a new dental widget or machine. His last acquisition is a CEREC machine to make full porcelain crowns in one hour.

Cons: Slightly high prices but worth every penny. Entrance hall needs remodelation.

Four years passed and I believe that every procedure he did will last a lifetime and will keep my teeth healthy and clean.
